Biography

I’m Darryll, and I’ll be your Reform UK candidate in the upcoming Kirkham election, standing for Kirkham South.

I moved here three years ago after many years of holidays across Fylde. When I retired, Kirkham won me over with its heritage and northern warmth. I love it here and want to see the town prosper.

My main career was in the social services care sector, starting from school, caring for the elderly before moving into adult care supporting people with mental health needs and learning disabilities. I also spent time in the Civil Service within the benefits sector, where I was a strong advocate for people and for my colleagues as a Trade Union Representative.

If you vote for me, you will get a councillor who will work steadfastly and passionately on your behalf, for every resident, to push for positive change in Kirkham. I will stand up for our High Street businesses, our vibrant community and defend local services from further erosion.

I am a no-nonsense, fair-minded Lancashire lass who shares the same concerns and worries that you do. I will stand up for you on important issues such as how your council tax is spent, ensuring decisions are guided by common sense, best value, and genuine local need.

Many of you already know me from my daily dog walks, and I look forward to getting to know even more of you in the coming weeks, months, and years.

Together, let’s deliver positive, sustainable growth and change for Kirkham while protecting the heritage and character that make our town so special.
