Honouring Service and Sacrifice on Remembrance Sunday

I had the privilege of laying wreaths in both Wesham and Kirkham to mark Remembrance Sunday, standing alongside local residents to pay our respects. Remembrance Sunday is a time for reflection, gratitude, and unity, as we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who gave everything for our freedom. It is also an opportunity to recognise the men and women who continue to serve our country today, often away from their families and in challenging circumstances.

Their service, past and present, must never be forgotten. By coming together as communities, we ensure that the values they defended — duty, resilience, and selflessness — continue to be upheld for generations to come. Lest we forget.
